The Department attributed the price adjustments to a decrease in the average Brent Crude oil price, which fell from $71.04 to $66.40 during the review period. Factors contributing to this decline include global economic recession concerns, an oversupply of oil from non-OPEC countries, and anticipated increases in oil production by OPEC+ members.
