The AUTO BILD sportscars editorial team’s verdict on the SportContact 7: “Conti’s sport tire sets the standard for braking on dry and wet roads and offers a big plus in driving safety. Stable, well-balanced handling on dry roads”.

The SportContact 7 received top marks in wet handling, cornering, braking and aquaplaning. With a braking distance of 43.7 meters from 100 km/h on wet asphalt, the Continental was four meters ahead of the second placed tire and eleven meters ahead of the last placed tire. With an intermediate score of 1- for the wet tests, it leads the test field well ahead of its competitors.

In the dry tests, the tire from the Hanover-based manufacturer came to a standstill after 31.2 meters at a speed of 100 km/h. Overall, the tire also scored an intermediate 1- in the five dry disciplines.

The SportContact 7 is specially designed for high performance sporty vehicles with electric or conventional drive. It has been approved by various vehicle manufacturers and is available in sizes from 18 to 24 inches. During development, Continental focused on perfection in all performance criteria to combine maximum driving pleasure with maximum safety.
