Thomas Klein will take the world leadership of Mercedes-Benz Vans from March 1, 2025. He succeeded Mathias Geisen, appointed to the board on February 1, 2025, and who will take up his duties as sales manager from March 1, 2025.

Thomas Klein (46) entered Daimlerchrysler AG in 1999 (old name of Mercedes-Benz Group AG) and started his career at Mercedes-Benz Vans in the Düsseldorf factorybefore joining Daimlerchrysler’s headquarters as a marketing specialist. After having held various positions in the Sales & Retail organization of Mercedes-Benz in Germany and South Africa, he directed multifunction sales for the “Overseas” region, Supervising nearly 180 markets.
In 2019, as president and chief executive office & marketing in Dubai, he directed the general distribution office of Mercedes-Benz Cars in the Middle East before assuming the Responsibility of Mercedes-Benz Korea in 2021. As such, he has contributed significantly to the implementation of the Mercedes-Benz strategy in Korea. Returned to Stuttgart, Thomas Klein has been, since July 2023, Vice-President Sales Planning & Mercedes-Benz Cars Products and the integrated production program. As such, he is responsible for planning and controlling Mercedes-Benz private car sales, including the strategic and operational planning of volumes as well as the pricing of Mercedes-Benz vehicles worldwide.
