In recent days, Lancia has stood out at the Brussels Automobile Fair. With more than 100,000 visitors, the event confirms the enormous interest aroused by the automobile.
Lancia presents the new Ypsilon, Ibrida and Etletricaas well as Ypsilon Rally HF, symbol of the brand’s return to the rally world.
During the inauguration day, the double world champion Miki Biasion went on stage to present Lancia Ypsilon Rally HF, in the company of Luca Napolitano, Managing Director of Lancia.
A few days before the end of the event, Lancia invites all its fans to visit its stand to discover the future of mobility and live the first emotions of a new era in the history of Lancia motorsport.
The 101st Brussels Automobile Fair is experiencing an exceptional crowd, confirming its place among the most emblematic events on the international automotive scene. On this prestigious platform, Lancia has distinguished itself with new products that harmoniously combine tradition, innovation and timeless design.
The stand of the Italian brand has attracted a crowd of enthusiasts who came to discover two flagship models: the new Ypsilon, available in Ibrida and Etletrica versions, and the daring Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, symbol of Lancia’s big return to the rally world. The enthusiasm of the public was also manifested during the press conference on January 10, marked by the presence of Luca Napolitano, Managing Director of Lancia, and Miki Biasion, double world champion of rally and living legend of the brand.
A strategic renaissance welcomed
During this event dedicated to the international press and to automotive professionals, Luca Napolitano recalled the main lines of the Lancia rebirth. Launched in 2021, this ambitious strategic plan aims to reposition the brand on the European high -end market.
Luca Napolitano highlighted the success of the launch last April of the new Ypsilon, the first model of a new era for Lancia. This vehicle continues to seduce, collecting an enthusiastic reception in all the markets where it is introduced.
Luca Napolitano said: “Our rebirth progresses quickly, and 2025 will be a pivotal year for our roadmap. It will mark the return of Lancia to motorsport with, also, Ypsilon HF of 280 horsepower, which will relaunch the illustrious HF appellation and will open the way to the Lancia Gamma HF Integrale. In addition, our new flagship, expected in 2026, will be produced in Melfi, an emblematic site of the Stellantis group recognized for its industrial excellence. The return of a legend
The highlight of this first day was undoubtedly the arrival of Miki Biasion on the Lancia stand. Warmly welcomed by visitors and journalists, the double world champion inaugurated Ypsilon Rally HF. This competition car, equipped with a 1.2 turbo engine of 212 horsepower, a 5 -speed Sadev gearbox and Öhlins adjustable shock absorbers, is the fruit of a close collaboration between Biasion and the Lancia and Stellantis Motorsport teams.
Moved, Miki Biasion said: “If, as a child, you dreamed of speed, you dreamed of the red of a Ferrari. But if you dreamed of rally, you dreamed of Lancia. Collaborating in the development of Ypsilon Rally HF is an immense honor. This car will offer a unique chance to young talents via the Lancia trophy, which will include six events in the Italian Rally 2025 championship and will put 300,000 euros in prices into play. The victorious history of Lancia in motorsport is back, and I am proud to contribute to it. »»
An international deployment under
In parallel, Lancia continues its internationalization process. The brand provides for the opening of 70 showrooms and 150 service points in European strategic cities. The first targeted markets include France, Spain, Belgium-Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Germany from 2025.
After the opening of the first Casa Lancia in Paris La Défense during the summer, the brand’s rebirth continues in France with a network of fourteen showrooms opened in 2024. In 2025, 25 Casa Lancia will be operational everywhere in France. In addition to the Casa Lancia, the network will also rely on 80 points of service, in order to accommodate its customers in all regions of mainland France.
