PHINA supports the future of hydrogen automobile races of the Alpenglow prototype
PHINA announced that Alpine has established a technical partnership to support the development of the hydrogen concept car. Within the scope of the project, PHINA will strengthen Alpine’s vision for a future with zero emissions with its innovative DI-CHG hydrogen direct injectors and related driving technology.
Designed for high-performance internal combustion engines using hydrogen, DI-CHG injectors offer strong features such as compatibility with precision fuel delivery, multiple injection skills and compliance with both compressed natural gas (CNG) and hydrogen gases. These injectors provide optimum performance while promoting zero emission mobility by creating an integral part of the hydrogen combustion system of the Alpenglow concept.
While Alpenglow represents the future of motor sports design and sustainable drive systems, it adapts to the strategic vision to build a cleaner future by increasing the sustainability of PHINA. Brand new 6 -cylinder Alpenglow HY6 vehicle, was introduced last year’s Paris Motor Show. The 4-cylinder version was exhibited in May 2024 at the “Total Energies 6 Hours of Spa-FranCorchamps” event. Alpenglow’s hydrogen working skills were recently shown with the participation of the legendary footballer Zinedinesene, France’s legendary footballer Zinedinesene in the 24 -hour races.
Assessment of the partnership Alpine Racing Hydrogen Chief Engineer Pierre-Jean Tardy“We are very excited to see PHINA as our technical partner in this exciting hydrogen mobility journey.
