George Russell came second in China GP ranking tours, where he took a great tour, and became one of the two McLaren. On Sunday, despite the transition to Lando Norris, he was able to see the third finish.
“This was one of my best weekends in Formula 1.
“The third is a great result. I am really glad. We knew that McLaren was a little faster than us, but we did our best and we managed to get very good points for us.” he said.
Stating that the only pit stop strategy works, Russell said, “I felt it was possible to make a single pit stop from the beginning of the race and it was a little easier than we expected.”
“The vehicle was great this weekend. In terms of performance, it was probably one of my best weekends in Formula 1, so I am really satisfied.” he said.
