Captured in a video that quickly went viral, Solly ‘MySol’ Madibela and his friends can be seen celebrating next to the monster SUV before pulling the cover off and proudly filming every angle, making sure the camera circled the vehicle for full effect.
Based on the already outrageous Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6, this Brabus-tuned version is a rarity among rarities. Under the bonnet sits a 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8, massaged by Brabus to deliver around 515 kw and 960 N.m of torque. The power is sent to all six wheels via permanent all-wheel drive, and thanks to its portal axles, the SUV offers an incredible 460 mm of ground clearance—enough to make most bakkies look like hatchbacks.

The visual upgrades don’t stop at the paint and upholstery. This G63 6×6 also features a carbon-fibre scoop, widened fenders, a roof-mounted LED light bar, and beadlock 18-inch wheels wrapped in chunky off-road tyres. Inside, the Tiffany blue leather and Alcantara cabin adds a splash of luxury to this otherwise military-inspired machine.
With an estimated price tag of R20 million, the G63 AMG 6×6 is one of the most expensive and exclusive SUVS on South African roads. Social media users responded with a mix of admiration and criticism. Some hailed the businessman as an inspiration and role model, while others questioned the decision to spend so much money on a vehicle instead of giving back to the community. Whether admired or debated, the six-wheeled G-Wagon did exactly what it was meant to—demand attention.
