Stellantis Pro One confirms his collaboration with Qinomic, which announces the launch of an electric retro -owner solution for light utility vehicles

During the press conference announcing the launch by Qinomic of its electric retro -de -retro -retrofit solution for light utility vehicles, Stellantis Pro One reaffirmed its desire to continue this collaboration.

This project, launched almost two and a half years ago in collaboration with Susainera, the Business Unit Circular Economy of Stellantis, is materializing today with the launch of this new technology. This will allow owners of thermal vul to convert them to electric without changing vehicles, an advantageous solution in terms of operating costs, environmental impact and freedom of movement.

This new technology will initially be available in France on the medium size Vul of Stellantis Pro One: Fiat Professional Scudo, Opel Vivaro, Peugeot Expert and Citroën Jumpy. In a “win-win” strategy, Qinomic will buy directly from Stellantis, more than 200 original components necessary for conversion (mainly intended for battery and electric motor). In parallel, Stellantis will recover the main thermal components linked to the engine, the gearbox, the tank and the exhaust system. Depending on their condition and mileage, these components will integrate the virtuous circle of Susainera’s activities to be reused or reminnored.

By proposing this innovative technical solution, which guarantees the quality of origin and compliance with specific criteria such as security, sustainable development and approval, transition to zero mobility of CO₂ is facilitated. It also makes it possible to extend the life of vehicles, offering owners the possibility of keeping them longer.

This initiative marks a new step towards electrification and is part of the Stellantis decarbonation strategy, by supporting its vision to preserve freedom of movement by proposing, with its partners, safe, clean and affordable solutions.
