Being the subject of continuous development on the part of all the teams of Citroën Racing, in close collaboration with customer teams, the Citroën C3 Rally2 has set up in 2024 of developments which confirmed its incredible speed on asphalt, while allowing it to be always more competitive on Earth. Today in its seventh year of existence, its reliability and its competitiveness illustrate that it has reached maturity without having reached the asymptote of its progression curve.
So many arguments which give him an incredible love rating with teams and pilots and which still allowed him in 2024 to raise a very large number of success. Starting with Yohan Rossel-Florian Barral and Nikolay Gryazin-Konstantin Aleksandrov, the official Citroën Racing official representatives in WRC2 this year, who went to win the WRC2 Team title with the Belgian team DG Sport Competition thanks in particular to six victories on land as demanding and varied as Monte-Carlo, Croatia, Portugal The Central European Rally and Japan. The whole having been accompanied by two doubles (Croatia, Chile), several other podiums, 90 best times made, that is to say the level of performance displayed, in a frame however ultra competitive, by Nikolay and Yohan, respectively third and fourth of the WRC2.
To capitalize on this fruitful collaboration, Yohan Rossel, again assisted by Arnaud Dunand, will be once again an official Citroën Racing pilot in 2025. On C3 Rally2 sporting the colors of Yacco and benefiting from the expertise of the PH Sport team, he will be joined by his brother Léo and his co -pilot Guillaume Mercoiret for seven -round Monte-carlo. Lucas Darmezin and Valentin Augé will defend them the official colors of Citroën Racing in the French rally championship in their victory in Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup 2024, in the same way as Yoann Bonato and Benjamin Boulloud. Pablo Sarrazin – Geoffrey Combe and Sarah Rumeau – Julie Amblard, engaged on C3 Rally2 in WRC2, in the French Rally Championship and in the French Terre Championship with respectively Iron Lynx and Iron Dames, will benefit from support from Citroën Racing. This will also be the case of Réhane Gany – Frank Le Floch for their program in the French Rally Championship.
