With the innovative Reman business model, ZF makes a significant contribution to the cyclical economy and sustainable mobility by realizing the production of many components on an industrial scale.

In the automotive industry, “Transformation of Resources” is considered one of the most needed areas for special efforts, more innovation and rapidly scalable solutions to achieve sustainable development goals. It constantly increases the recycled material rate in ZF products and makes a significant contribution to the protection of resources. The longer usage process through recycling is an important leverage in the saving of basic materials.

Since 1963, ZF’s technology group has been preparing parts used in 25 worldwide reproduction facilities for an industrial scale for a “second life .. These parts are cleaned, tested, renewed and re -installed in the facility. This process is called Reman, that is, reproduction.

Stating that Reman constitutes a very important part of ZF’s sustainability strategy, ZF Aftermarket Türkiye General Manager Selim Aydınlıoğlu said in his assessment on the subject:

ZF Aftermarket, Reman Increasing productivity with the protection of resources, reducing the impact on the environment and making a significant contribution to sustainable mobility and pioneering its sector. Recipped products, which have completely equivalent functioning with new parts, are offered to the market with the same warranty times as new products after meticulous controls. ZF offers a simple, fast and efficient process for service and distributors for the Reman system. The ZF, which aims to continuously expand its reproduced parts portfolio in line with its importance to sustainability, further increases its contributions to the protection and emission reduction of resources. As ZF Aftermarket Türkiye, we are reproducing the transmission, axle and caliper components in our facility. ”

Compared to a new piece, the material consumption of the reproduced components in the production processes decreases up to 95 percent, while energy and CO2 savings increase up to 90 percent.

ZF’s pioneer and environmental ‘reproduction’ model Reman was awarded the German Sustainability Award

ZF has also won the German Sustainability Award, which is given by the reproduction model REMAN and the German Sustainability Award Foundation and determines the best in transformation areas in different sectors. ZF received the prize in the field of transformation of resources .. In his decision, the expert jury consider ZF’s comprehensive commitment, especially on the sustainable cyclic economy. The reproduction facility in Bielefeld, which specializes in the reproduction of ZF’s vehicle manufacturers and the global renewal market, has an important role in this field.
